One of the best exports to come out of Sweden since..... ? (Debatable open ended question here, obvious Swedish comparison would be The Knife or Kent, though most of Sweden's most notable artists include bands like The Hives, Millencolin, The Cardigans, Shout Out Louds, Peter, Bjorn and John, etc....)
Youth Novels, was produced by Bjorn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John and is one of the most innovative and interesting albums of the the year in my opinion. Heavy electronic and melodic influences compliment Li Zachrisson's child-like vocals. There is something endearing and seducing to her sound.
